Indulge your senses with the Urban Romance ritual. Begin with personalised qaba™ One shampoo to clarify & cleanse. Yako oils (a blend of rosemary, geranium ∠ bergamot) is then kneaded into the hairs’ cuticle and wrapped with a hot towel. Your shine is sealed with a few drops of Yako oil in your final rinse.

Salon Etiquette
We’ve designed your new experience at Fatty Arbuckles to be relaxing and rejuvenating. To ensure your time is as beneficial as possible, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your appointment to allow time for parking and discussion with your stylist.
The Salon is your sanctuary. Please leave the outside world behind by switching your mobile to silent while you’re here.
Please call at least 24 hours ahead of time to reschedule or cancel your appointment. This provides our wait list clients an opportunity to take your missed appointment.
We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals, but please note that if you are 15 mins late, you may need to be rescheduled if it inconveniences another client. In this case, you may be charged a cancellation fee.

Become a model
Models are very important to our ongoing training and creativity. To help us stay at the forefront of our profession, models are wanted for haircut and colour.
Cut/colour model
To explore our creativity and ensure that our apprentices learn excellent technique, we require models for practicing cut, colour and style dries. All sessions are fully supervised by a Master Stylist.

Demonstration model
Fatty Arbuckles gives back to our industry by providing lectures, workshops and training sessions. As part of this work, we require demonstration models.
If you are open to a complete style change, including cut and colour, with one of our stylists and you are comfortable in front of an audience, please contact the Salon on (08) 9218 9559 or email style@fattyarbuckles.com.au.
Photographic model
To express our creativity and interpret seasonal and future trends, our creative team often produce new photographic work for competitions and publications.
If you are open to a complete style change, including cut and colour, with one of our stylists and are comfortable in front of a camera, please contact the Salon on (08) 9218 9559 or email style@fattyarbuckles.com.au.
Photographic models must be between 18 and 30 years of age and size 10 or less.
Employment
We are always evolving and keenly in tune to new ideas and techniques. If you’re a highly motivated and energetic stylist and/or assistant and looking to join a creative team, we’d like to hear from you.
We enjoy working with people who are open minded, have strong aspirations in this industry and understand the importance of excellent customer service.
Our trainee program is second to none and conducted within the creative environment of the salon. Young people with a desire to train to become great hairdressers are particularly welcome.
Our strong links with product companies and professional organisations offer our staff regular training outside the salon to complement in-house training.
